Q: How does your dog walking service work?
A: My dog walking service aims to provide convenience for you and exercise for your furry friend. To get started, simply send me a message on this website with your requirements or sign up on Rover, schedule a walk, and I will respond promptly with the answers and proposed meet & greet availability to ensure a successful match.
Q: Do you offer a meet & greet service before booking?
A: Yes, all walks are subject to a successful, free meet & greet. Usually in one of the local parks.
Q: How long are the dog walks?
A: There are two options available; 30 minutes or 60 minutes. However, if your dog has special requirements, let me know and I’ll see if I can help.
Q: Do you drive to the walk location?
A: As a part-time dog walker, working around my 9-5 job, I tend to keep the walks in your local area to maximise time with your dog. This also helps the dog with familiarity of the area whilst with a new walker.
Q: Do you offer solo walks or group walks?
A: I predominately offer just solo walks unless you have multiple dogs in your household and then I am happy to walk them all together. Solo walks provide individual attention and tailored care, prioritising your dog’s needs. While group walks allow for socialization with other dogs, I have found that there are always dogs to say hello to whilst out and about.
Q: What if my dog has specific medical or behavioural needs?
A: I can accommodate dogs with specific medical or behavioural needs. During the registration process, you can provide detailed information about your dog’s requirements and then we can discuss further during the meet & greet to ensure we can provide the necessary care.
Q: What areas do you serve?
A: I currently serve Bromley, Bellingham and Beckenham. However, availability may vary depending on travel time, so please contact me for the most up-to-date information on our service areas.
Q: Can I schedule dog walks on a recurring basis?
A: Absolutely! I offer recurring dog walking services to ensure your dog gets regular exercise. However, I am also flexible and happy to accommodate one-off walks or walks on an as-needed basis.
Q: What times do you offer for walks?
A: Again, because I do this in my spare time, around my 9-5 job, I offer walks between 7:00am-8:30am, 12:00pm-2:00pm* and 6:00pm-8:00pm.
*Although, in the hot weather I try to avoid the lunchtime walks.
Q: What happens in case of bad weather or cancellations?
A: Your dog’s safety is my top priority. If weather conditions make walking unsafe, such as heavy rain or extreme temperatures, we will reschedule the walk. If you need to cancel or reschedule a walk for any reason, I will always try and be as accommodating as possible. There is a cancellation policy that allows you to make changes within a specific timeframe without any penalties. Please contact me for more details on the cancellation policy.
